It seems that, lately, I've been letting photos do most of the talking, and I can't help it. It's such a beautiful time of year, that I want you all to see it for yourself. Today's post is no different.
I was driving the other night, down a street I've driven several times, and suddenly, something caught my eye. It was the yard surrounding a historic building that is now open to the public as a boutique, and has tall trees and soft grass. I've actually sat on the bench next to one of the large pine trees, and never noticed what caught my eye that night.
Behind the trees, was a gazebo, and surrounding the gazebo was a small rose garden! I flipped a u-turn, parked and got out. The sun was behind the mountains. It was quiet, and the light was fading fast. I had just enough time to wander through the peaceful garden and snap some photos before dark.
I love finding hidden gems. I love finding places I've seen a million times, but never actually noticed.
