One of my favorite seasons on the patio is when the roses are in bloom. It happens in a big way in the spring and then tapers off during the hottest part of the summer before it ramps up again in the fall. I was surprised at how easy it would be to grow roses in pots. I thought for sure they would be a challenge, but they've proved to be quite simple. Regular watering, feeding and dead-heading, thick mulch, and a decent amount of sunshine is all it takes to keep them happy!
And when they bloom, I'm happy!
